Keeping this very short but wanted to send out an update.
We headed down to N. Carolina with our new to us vanagon for the solar eclipse. Just after 1000 miles into the trip our valve cover seal blew and then we started getting MASSIVE knock from the engine [seized hydraulic valve adjusters, or something more catastrophic unsure yet]. So we cut our losses and started our drive home at a painfully slow pace. Well over 24 hours of driving later we putted into our driveway. Very happy to have made it home, but very sad at missing the totality of the eclipse and meeting up with some fellow travelers.
Fast forward a little and I [Kevin] went under the knife for a nerve relocation surgery in my elbow and wrist. So not much has happened unfortunately. With winter build season coming up, We hope to give you some more content and information.
